Role Overview The Certification Team is responsible for developing and maintaining a large-scale automated test framework that integrates virtual machines, networks, and code solutions to support end-to-end integration testing of 14+ applications. This environment acts as a comprehensive testing platform used to validate system functionality, performance, and stability. Technology Stack OS & Virtualization: Windows Virtual Machines Programming: Python 3 Database: MSSQL Version Control: Git Deployment & Automation: Chef, Octopus Web & APIs: REST Virtual Infrastructure Management Provision and manage Windows virtual servers (create/remove VMs, work with images/clones). Configure firewalls, Active Directory, and virtual networks. Troubleshoot and resolve Windows-based system issues. Software Development (Python) Develop CLI utilities, web services, and automation tools in Python 3. Create REST API clients and contribute to the automated testing framework. Database Administration Manage MSSQL Server including backups, restores, and basic administration. Write and execute SQL queries and stored procedures. CI/CD and Automation Support and maintain Chef scripts (Ruby-based) for VM configuration. Manage deployment workflows in Octopus, troubleshoot issues, and update processes. Test Automation & Framework Development Design, implement, and maintain automated integration tests using Python & SQL. Extend and enhance the test automation framework. Document system components, processes, and test results. Your Profile Windows Administration: active directory basics, firewall and network configuration, Windows debugging and troubleshooting Development skills: 2+ years experience with programming languages Python, Java, C#, GoLang. Experience with Object Oriented Programming Familiarity with Git flow such as branching, pull requests, conflict resolution Strong SQL fundamentals Understanding of HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, etc.) Can communicate in English both written and verbal.
