What you need to know Collections processes: register payments to the right policies via semi-automated or manual methods Process the registration and application of policies Collection management corresponding to the assigned accounts, broker and agent portfolio. Provide customer service, resolve situations presented by producers, insured and internal clients, related to premium payments, such as attention to unrecognized charges, duplicate charges and other collection questions Elaborate a monthly cash for premium receivables Reconciliation and administration of special accounts Collaborate in Collections projects Perform forecast of cancellations for outstanding policies Responsible for analyzing and overseeing the proper allocation of all payment transactions for assigned accounts/agents Generation of manual invoices for managed accounts or for system incidents Preparation of reports corresponding to the assigned portfolio Identification of deposits in the concentrator accounts for their entry and application. Monitoring and application of stand-alone cash Responsible to perform general ledger account analysis. Responsible for processing Cancellation and Reinstallation notices Communicate and train Producers and Distribution teammates File and organize Collections department information as required. Support Financial internal and external audits. Back up and support other Collection team members in matters related to collections area. What we’re looking for Bachelor\'s degree in Business or a related field of study This position suits candidates with at least 1 year experience in the insurance industry as well as work related responsibilities. Proactive, resilient Customer service Productivity improvement Excellent written and verbal communication skills Analytical skills and detail oriented Excellent teamwork skills Language skill: Basic English (desirable, not mandatory) Proficient in the use of MS Office suite products specially Excel (a must) and Word.
