Job Description for Software Engineer (Experienced) The Software Engineer plays a key role in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software applications and systems. This position involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, user‑centered software solutions. The role also includes contributing to system architecture, participating in peer code reviews, and staying updated with the latest technologies and industry best practices. Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of professional experience in software development. Proficiency in software development using C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL. Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms. Experience with version control systems (such as Git) and code review practices in team environments. Proven problem‑solving and debugging skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within cross‑functional teams. Solid understanding of relational databases and basic design principles. Experience in Python and/or C/C++ is a plus. Background in hardware/software integration or working with microcontrollers is a plus. Key Responsibilities Software Development & Implementation Design, develop, and maintain software applications based on business requirements. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand project goals and deliver software solutions. Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code following best practices. Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability. Work on integrating software applications with hardware components. Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless communication between software and hardware systems. Testing & Deployment Writing unit tests and debugging software issues.
