Overview Value Creation Manager at Globe Telecom contributing to the organization’s sustainability journey. Your expertise in sustainable development and reporting will help drive positive change, enhance stakeholder engagement, and support the company's strategic goals, as guided by local and global sustainability frameworks. Position Overview: The Value Creation Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the organization’s sustainability strategies and initiatives. This role drives environmental, social, and governance practices across the company, ensuring alignment with local regulations, global standards, and industry best practices. Responsibilities ESG Strategy Development and Implementation: Develop sustainability strategies relevant to the business. Conduct materiality studies, analyze data, and translate insights to inform business decisions. End-to-end Sustainability Project Management: lead and execute strategies in cross-functional collaborations; integrate ESG into operations, processes, and decision-making frameworks. Monitor progress against goals, targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Integrate environmental and social considerations into key business processes. ESG Reporting and Disclosures: Prepare and submit sustainability reports, disclosures, and surveys, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with relevant frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, IFRS S1/S2). Coordinate data collection with stakeholders to ensure data integrity for ESG reporting. Analyze industry trends, regulations, and emerging ESG issues to identify opportunities and risks, and recommend actions. Familiarity with UN Global Compact Principles and UN Sustainable Development Goals. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration, gather insights, and address material sustainability concerns; maintain relationships with sustainability-related external organizations, industry associations, and regulatory bodies. Governance: Perform end-to-end business casing and project management for sustainability initiatives (e.g., Climate Action, Nature Action, Social Impact). Qualifications Preferably a bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, environmental studies, social science, or related sustainable development field. An advanced degree and relevant professional certifications in sustainability, finance, and project management are a plus. At least seven (7) years in a sustainability-related role. Foundational knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, IIRC, SASB, TCFD, IFRS S1/S2) and other relevant standards. Experience as a project manager with the ability to lead and execute strategies; research-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations. Familiarity with environmental and social impact measurement methodologies and reporting practices. Excellent communication, business case development, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
