About Our Client

The client is a boutique US-based fund services firm growing its team in the Philippines. They offer a fully remote/work-from-home setup on a night shift schedule (9pm-6am Philippine time).

Job Description

  • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper record-keeping practices.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently.
  • Prepare budgets and monitor financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Manage financial consolidation.
  • Provide support during audits and assist with tax filings.
  • Collaborate with the accounting and finance team to improve processes.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Prior experience in a Big 4 audit/accounting firm.
  • Must have at least 5 years of accounting experience in a multinational financial services company.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Expert in Quickbooks Online/Desktop
  • Experience in Bill.com and Sage IntAcct strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in ERP/accounting system migration.
  • Strong communication skills, independent, self-starter, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Amenable to work on a night shift (9pm-6am Philippine time).
