Brief Description

QA Analyst ensures that all meat processing operations comply with food safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The role involves daily monitoring of production processes, inspection of raw and finished goods, documentation of QA data, and support in implementing GMP, HACCP, and other food safety programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

The QA Analyst should:

Monitor production quality, sanitation, and hygienic practices during processing.

Inspect and evaluate raw materials (e.g., frozen imported meat) and finished products for compliance with internal specifications.

Assist in validation and verification of GMP compliance, and traceability systems.

Perform quality check validation, temperature checks, and quality sampling during production.

Maintain accurate QA records, inspection logs, deviation reports, and hold/release documents.

Coordinate with production for real-time corrections when non-conformance is detected.

Participate in internal audits, supplier evaluations, and regulatory inspections.

Assist in employee food safety training and orientation as needed.

Report any food safety concerns immediately to QA Supervisor/Manager.

Qualifications

The candidate must possess the following:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biology, or related field.

• At least 1–2 years of experience in food manufacturing or meat processing QA is preferred.

• Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply

• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and relevant food safety regulations (BFAD, NMIS, FDA, etc.).

• Experience with documentation and food safety audits is an advantage.

Skills and Qualities

• Attention to detail and high sense of accountability.

• Strong observation and analytical skills.

• Good communication and report-writing abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or QA monitoring tools.

• Ability to work in cold room and meat-handling environments.

• Team player but also able to work independently under pressure.

Who are we looking for:

As a Quality Assurance Assistant, you are expected to support the implementation and maintenance of quality control systems, procedures, and processes. Responsible for various tasks related to quality assurance to ensure products or services meet or exceed quality standards.

• Strong background in retail or quick service restaurant; food safety industry
• Exemplary good computer skills
• With SO1, SO2 is a plus but not a requirement
• Follow-up on audit findings to ensure proper close-out and correction
• Prepares review site inspection plans, site quality procedures, and other related quality method statements
• Ensures all audits are value-adding to ensure proper compliance to the scope of work, measurements, and specifications
• Prepares data for project management review to assess the effectiveness of systems in area of reoccurring deficiencies and areas for improvement

What does it take to be part of the team?

• Bachelor/College Degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent
• At least 6 months - 1 Year of working experience in food and manufacturing companies, fast-moving consumer goods, and restaurant industry.
• Food retail or store setup experience is an advantage
• Driving skills: either motorcycle or 4 wheels with a license is a plus but not a requirement
• Best health condition due to fieldwork
• Willing to report in Distribution Center at: SILANG, CAVITE

Summary of Position

• Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the overall activities of Product Audit and Certification.
• Leads, coordinates, and trains a team of quality control technicians responsible for Product Audit Certification, and evaluation of product samples.
• Analyze failure, and corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints.
