The Role

As a Test Automation Head , you will be responsible for test automation framework design and initiating all software testing projects in the bank. The role is expected to propose solutions to test the automation needs of small, medium to complex projects. The role should be able to standardize all automation guidelines and standards across projects. The role should be an expert on the latest test automation strategies, techniques, and testing tools. The role is decisive with which approach to implement upon the discovery/design phase of a project. The role is expected to manage the test automation deliverables of active projects simultaneously.

How You\'ll Contribute
  • Technical oversight of all test automation projects and decide which framework and strategy to implement for existing or new projects
  • Create test plans and frameworks for new projects encompassing different platforms – Web, Backend (API), and Mobile
  • Establish a model of the team’s productivity and translate it into test progress reports and metrics
  • Implement a working model that addresses different project deliverables
  • Establish goals on project test coverage and execution to meet the bank’s software quality standards
  • Manage all automation engineers with their career development and upskilling
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology & Software Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in software test automation
  • Excellent in implementing CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins and Git)
  • Expert on SDLC and STLC
  • Proficiency with testing tools such as Postman, Docker, SQL, and Git version control
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply solutions to test frameworks
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies
  • Proven leadership with the ability to build and motivate teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to executives and non-technical leaders
