What you do as a Digital Engineer / CAD data analyst Utilizing civil engineering domain knowledge and digital skills will be your day-to-day activities. You will be involved in design activities such as: BIM models for civil engineering designs, ranging from ports to land reclamation to river protection work Creating and analyzing spatial data sets using GIS Creating and managing Civil3D model Creating and analyzing datasets of engineering and construction projects to allow our engineers and managers to make informed decisions Automating engineering and construction management processes Ensure that project goals align with the overall vision and coordinate the BIM team Establish coordination workflows based on project timelines and objectives Define and verify model levels of detail and related drawings Manage geometric and information interferences within the model Foster collaboration among team members Facilitate communication and address conflicts promptly Leverage knowledge of Autodesk software, especially Civil3D, to enhance the project At Haskoning, we are committed to your development to become a Digital Engineer / CAD Data Analyst equipped with the necessary skill set to service the increasing digital scope of our projects. The project involves the dredging, and reclamation works for the Bacoor Reclamation and Development Project (BRDP) at Bacoor, the Philippines. Haskoning is the engineer on the project and is supervising the dredging and reclamation works undertaken by a contractor based on a FIDIC Construct Only type of contract. You will become part of the BRDP Construction Management and Supervision team led by an international experienced Engineer’s Representative supported by 14 inspectors, surveyors and engineers. What you bring You are highly motivated, quick learning, and you have a passion for civil engineering. You are keen for possibilities to automate/standardize existing engineering processes and you are willing to take up the discussion with the engineers and project managers who have ownership of these processes. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant degree At least 3 to 7 years of experience as BIM Engineer Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and design concepts Experience or willingness to learn programming languages such as Python and MATLAB, and affinity in working with data (and databases) Familiarity with Civil Engineering software such as Civil 3D, InfraWorks, and other Autodesk Software Affinity in working with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong teamwork and collaboration ability Responsibilities / Abilities Accurate and strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and manage time effectively Understanding of time and deliverable management Ability to coordinate BIM design teams Innovator in looking for solutions to problems Takes ownership of task delivery from start to finish Ability to communicate well and share skills with colleagues Promotes an inclusive and positive environment for the team Promotes and uses a Digital Way of Working in execution What we offer you At Haskoning, you will collaborate with an engaging and supportive team, enabling you to develop your skills and competencies.
