WHAT IS AN INVENTORY ANALYST
Our awesome client, a leading Retail Conglomerate Company based in AU is looking for an Inventory Analyst to be part of their Team.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and execute timely and accurate Allocation and Replenishment (A&R) of products to Stores considering relevant historical trends and current / future strategies
  • Maintain Article / Site Target Stocks, frequently reviewing and updating these in line with fluctuating Sales
  • \'Tune\' Article / Site Target Stocks to ensure Stores have enough Stock for Promotional Sales periods
  • Support the Project Store stock-up process as required
  • Monitor and manage DC stock including clearing Articles with low stock units and maintaining 180+ day Stock at zero
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to the Department and other key stakeholders on inventory risks and opportunities
  • Work collaboratively to drive consensus decisions with the Planner and the Buyer
  • Regularly interact with Departments, Supply Chain and Suppliers
  • Conduct Store Visits to ensure an understanding of the range as well as store and customers issues
  • Answer Store queries including Weekly Talkback as needed
  • Create and collate both routine and ad hoc information used for A&R and to identify Stock issues
  • Assist the Planner with ad hoc analysis as needed
  • Produce and distribute weekly Stock Management reports as required
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement and refinement of the Allocation & Replenishment process and systems

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years work experience in related field
  • Background in Allocation (or equivalent) within a large organization, preferably Retail
