Overview
The Senior Medical Sales Associate is responsible for promoting and selling medical products and services to healthcare professionals, including physicians, hospitals, clinics, and medical institutions. This role requires advanced sales experience, comprehensive product knowledge, and the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the healthcare sector. The Senior Medical Sales Associate will contribute to the growth and profitability of the company by achieving sales targets, providing exceptional client service, and acting as a trusted advisor to healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities- Promote and sell medical products and services to healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics, and medical institutions.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the healthcare sector.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to growth and profitability.
- Provide exceptional client service and act as a trusted advisor to healthcare professionals.
- Travel within the designated territory as needed.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Healthcare, or related field.
- Medical, Pharmaceutical, or related certifications (preferred).
Experience:
- Experience in Sales and/or in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sales industry with a cumulative 5-10 years of medical sales experience, preferably from no more than 1-3 organizations and with a proven track record of success.
- Experience selling medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare technology to physicians, hospitals, and healthcare providers.
- Experience working with CRM software and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Skills:
- Sales Skills: Strong negotiation, closing, and prospecting abilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective presentations, proposals, and client interaction.
- Clients’ Service: Ability to build trust-based relationships with clients, providing exceptional service.
- Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of medical products, procedures, and healthcare industry trends.
- Time Management: Ability to effectively manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
