About This Job

Ensures quality of software products by creating and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.

  • Monitors adherence to quality standards in the development, implementation, and upkeep of software products. Monitors effectiveness of the assurance process and tools.
  • Participates in sprint planning meetings to discuss the latest requirements of software development and determines subsequent tasks.
  • Provides guidance and technical instruction to junior engineers on Extreme Programming.
  • Designs, develops, and maintains related infrastructure and platforms according to changing client requirements.
  • Executes tests to compare results with requirements, verify test requirements, identify defects, and ensure compliance.
  • Reviews functional, design, and data specifications and stories to derive use cases and test plans. Writes test scripts, use cases, queries, and plans to meet quality assurance objectives.
  • Provides user support by writing and maintaining documentation and assisting in user acceptance testing.

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven expertise or practical experience with ETL testing, SQL, data warehousing.

  • Experience in Python is a plus.
