PDAX is seeking a Senior Associate, Finance to join their team in Pasig, National Capital Region, Philippines. Responsibilities: Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance to support decision-making. Financial Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies. Assist in preparing for audits and provide necessary documentation and support to auditors. Financial Operations Support: Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency. Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives to support the overall goals of the finance department and the company. Bookkeeping: Record company transactions. Oversee weekly transaction cycles. Month End Close: Help in performing month end closing procedures in accordance with the month end close checklist. Maintain monthly schedules, disposition discrepancies and/or balances and record necessary adjusting entries. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field, with a demonstrated understanding of basic accounting principles. 2-3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in the financial services or technology industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle NetSuite, or similar software like SAP, QuickBooks, or Xero, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledgeable in accounting operations. Enthusiastic for the accounting practices of the fintech industry, especially those involved in blockchain, crypto, digital assets. All accounting/finance certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA, CTT, etc.) welcome as a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
