Overview: LINSY Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Staff to handle Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, BIR Compliance, Tax Filings, Bookkeeping, and Financial Reporting. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the company.

BIR Compliance and Tax Filings
  • Manage the preparation and filing of BIR reports, including VAT, withholding tax, and income tax returns.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, deadlines, and regulations.
  • Coordinate with the accounting team to respond to audits and inquiries from regulatory authorities.
Bookkeeping and Record Maintenance
  • Oversee the proper recording of all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness in the general ledger.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank statements, accounts, and internal financial records.
  • Ensure proper archiving and retention of financial documents in compliance with regulations.
Accounts Receivable and Payable Oversight
  • Oversee the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring accuracy in invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
  • Monitor cash flow, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.
  • Review and approve significant financial transactions and expenditures.
Risk, Control and Process Management
  • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies to ensure proper reporting and compliance.
  • Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Evaluate and implement improvements to financial processes, accounting procedures, and internal controls to increase efficiency and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure that accounting practices and systems are aligned with industry standards and best practices.
Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to senior management accurately.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve financial health.
  • Assist in the development of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
  • Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management made by Accounting Staff.
  • Supervise and lead the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate completion of all financial tasks, including invoicing, payments, tax filings, and general bookkeeping.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to accounting staff to enhance their skills, performance, and professional growth.
  • Ensure the team adheres to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA is a plus).
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax compliance, and bookkeeping.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, BIR regulations and tax filing requirements.
  • Experience in handling accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Willing to learn Odoo Accounting Software and processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be willing to work onsite in Makati City, Philippines.
  • Salary Range: PHP 35,000 - PHP 40,000.
