Overview Estimator (AU Construction, WFH) at ConnectOS Schedule: Monday to Friday (07:00 AM-04:00 PM PHT) Responsibilities Prepare detailed estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and equipment costs. Analyse project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify all necessary components and accurately quantify required resources. Collaborate with the team to ensure estimates align with project requirements and budgets. Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of materials, labour, and equipment pricing. Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals. Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations to the project management team. Participate in pre-construction meetings to clarify project details and address estimating concerns. Skills and Experience Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Project Estimator in the construction industry. Strong understanding of construction materials, labour, and equipment pricing. Proficient in Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in project data. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to use Blue Beam REVU or willing to learn. Knowledge/Understanding of Civil & Commercial Projects. Key Attributes Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
