Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (AI Engineer) Manulife, Quezon City, National Capital Region, Philippines Senior AI Software Engineer role at Manulife Position Responsibilities Lead the translation of complex business requirements into technical specifications and system designs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement high-impact AI solutions. Architect and develop full-stack AI solutions, ensuring scalability and maintainability. Design and build advanced user interfaces, APIs, and backend logic for AI systems. Apply advanced coding practices, design patterns, and automation strategies. Conduct technical “spikes” and feasibility studies to mitigate risks in AI adoption. Optimize AI models and algorithms for performance, accuracy, and ethical compliance. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including deployment and support guides. Ensure seamless integration with enterprise platforms and data ecosystems. Champion responsible AI principles including fairness, transparency, and governance. Monitor and continuously improve deployed AI agents and systems. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability building. Amendable to working in QC (hybrid setup) and on a mid-shift schedule (or as required by the business). Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in software development or automation, with 2+ years in AI or low-code platforms. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot, and API-based integrations (e.g SharePoint, M365, Azure, ServiceNow, Salesforce, WD, etc). Experience with Azure AI services, Power BI, and Dataverse is a plus. Strong understanding of agentic AI, prompt engineering, and workflow orchestration. Proven ability to influence technical strategy and deliver scalable, ethical enterprise-grade AI solutions. Familiarity with agentic AI concepts, including autonomous agents, memory, and goal-driven behavior. Demonstrates strategic adaptability to evolving technologies and ethical AI design principles. Preferred Qualifications Experience with OpenAI APIs, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, AI Builder), Copilot studio. Knowledge of MLOps, AI governance, and ethical AI frameworks.
