Key Responsibilities

  • Design, own, and refine holistic credit policies, underwriting standards, risk assessment frameworks, and fraud-prevention frameworks to safeguard portfolio performance and regulatory compliance.
  • Build, validate, and iterate predictive models for PD, LGD, and fraud probability.
  • Integrate alternative data (mobile-money, telco, device, behavioral) to enhance both credit and real-time fraud detection accuracy.
  • Govern end-to-end credit-decision and fraud-screening workflows, ensuring policy adherence and sub-minute turnaround without diluting risk quality.
  • Establish real-time rules and anomaly triggers for identity spoofing, synthetic fraud, and transaction laundering.
  • Conduct portfolio reviews and fraud-loss analytics, flagging emerging risk trends and policy gaps.
  • Drive rapid policy recalibration and model refresh cycles based on vintage, early-delinquency, and fraud-hit-rate KPIs.

Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor and analyze credit performance metrics to ensure portfolio health and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of combined credit-risk and fraud-management experience within Philippine retail/SME banking.
  • Candidates from leading digital banking/fintech platforms are highly desirable.
  • Proven expertise in fraud-detection techniques (device fingerprinting, velocity rules, link analysis, machine-learning fraud scores).
  • Strong understanding of credit scoring models, behavioral scoring, and mobile payment data usage.
  • Proven expertise in data analytics and translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Exposure to digital payments ecosystems and alternative credit evaluation methods.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Willingness to report to work onsite 5X a week (Ortigas Center)
