General Manager – Mall Operations

We are seeking a results-driven General Manager to lead and oversee the operations of community malls across the Philippines. This role requires a visionary leader who can inspire teams, drive operational excellence, and elevate customer satisfaction while fostering innovation to meet the evolving needs of the communities we serve. The General Manager will play a pivotal role in aligning the organization with its mission of uplifting lives and building the leading community mall network in the country.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Alignment

  • Lead and manage the nationwide mall operations team, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and values.
  • Keep the Sr Mgt focused on strategic goals, KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver three (3) mall expansions per year, ensuring readiness in systems, people, and processes.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality mall operations across all sites.
  • Implement systems and structures that promote efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
  • Monitor mall performance and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Customer Experience & Community Engagement

  • Uplift the customer journey by ensuring malls are welcoming, accessible, and responsive to community needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing and tenant relations teams to create engaging mall experiences.
  • Foster strong relationships with tenants, local stakeholders, and community leaders.

Organizational Development

  • Build infrastructure and talent pipelines to support long-term growth.
  • Mentor and develop future leaders within the organization.
  • Ensure succession planning and organizational resilience.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must hold a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA).
  • Ideally, someone who can leverage the EOS model to drive organizational alignment and growth.
  • Must be open to frequent travel across various locations.
  • Proven experience in multi-site retail, Restaurant operations or FMCG experience.
  • Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Passion for community development and customer service.
  • Experienced in managing an organization of 600+ employees.
