Overview

The Sales Supervisor for General Trade is responsible for leading a team of Sales Team to achieve sales targets, expand market coverage, and ensure excellent execution of trade marketing initiatives for processed meat products. This role ensures availability, visibility, and sell-out of products in general trade channels such as wholesalers, sari-sari stores, public markets, and community retailers.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coach sales team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales objectives.
  • Monitor and ensure proper coverage of assigned territories and key accounts within the General Trade channel.
  • Implement route plans and ensure 100% compliance to call schedules.
  • Develop strong customer relationships and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly.
  • Analyze sales trends and identify business opportunities to grow volume and market share.
  • Conduct regular market visits to assess execution, availability, pricing, and competitor activities.
  • Coordinate with Trade Marketing for the effective execution of promotional activities and merchandising standards.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales performance, market intelligence, and competitor movements.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order generation, and deliveries to ensure product availability.
  • Support collection efforts and ensure timely remittance of payments from customers.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for management review.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of sales experience in the General Trade channel, preferably in food or FMCG industries.
  • Strong knowledge of the local traditional trade landscape.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make sound business decisions.
  • Must be willing to do fieldwork and travel within the assigned territory.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with sales tracking tools is an advantage.
  • With a valid driver’s license is preferred.
  • Work Location: Willing to be assigned in San Pedro, Laguna
