The Opportunity
Imagine leading social media advertising campaigns for a premier eCommerce growth marketing firm that partners with over 250 top consumer brands. As a Media Buyer specializing in Paid Social, you will devise, execute, and manage advertising campaigns across various social media platforms. Collaborate with a team dedicated to delivering comprehensive eCommerce solutions, including design, development, and digital marketing. Your ability to analyze data, optimize campaigns, and stay abreast of industry trends will be essential in driving successful advertising strategies that maximize ROI for clients.
Your Mission
- Campaign Strategist: Devise, execute, and manage social media advertising campaigns for clients, including creating ad copy, selecting targeting options, launching campaigns, and monitoring performance
- Data Analyst: Analyze data from campaign performance to determine insights, trends, and areas that require optimization
- Optimization Specialist: Optimize campaigns to maximize ROI by adjusting targeting, ad creative, bid amounts, and landing pages
- Creative Collaborator: Work with the creative team to develop ad creatives and landing pages suitable for social media advertising
- Industry Enthusiast: Stay up-to-date with the latest changes, trends, and best practices in social media advertising and apply them in campaigns where applicable
- Relationship Builder: Foster and maintain relationships with representatives from social media platforms to keep abreast of changes in the advertising industry
- Team Player: Collaborate with other members of the digital marketing team, such as account managers, SEO specialists, and data analysts

- Social Media Expert: Extensive experience managing paid social media campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok

- Champion paid digital media platforms like Google Marketing Platform and Meta, while pushing boundaries with new media innovations.
- Embed best practices in media planning and buying, and establish KPIs to measure campaign success.
- Co-develop negotiation strategies with media agencies to optimize spend and performance.
- Provide expert guidance on media planning, investment levels, and connections strategy.
- Integrate audience-first, data-led thinking into every media activation.
- Manage media operations, agency relationships, and contract execution with precision and professionalism.
- Deliver market insights, competitive reviews, and training programs to upskill internal teams.
What You Need to Succeed
- Proven experience in digital marketing, brand building, and integrated communications.
- Deep understanding of Paid, Owned, and Earned media—and how they work together.
- Expertise in SEM/SEO, content marketing, social media, mobile, influencer campaigns, and eCommerce.
- Strong grasp of ATL media (TV, Radio, Print, OOH) and digital platforms.
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data streams and translate them into actionable insights.
- Strong stakeholder management and external media network.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a bias for action and innovation.
- High integrity, adaptability, and drive to make a measurable impact.
Preferred Experience
- Background in media/digital agencies, advertiser media departments, or media research firms.
- Exposure to tech, telco, fintech, banking, or finance communications.
- Familiarity with regulatory environments is a plus.
