Act as a trusted advisor to category leaders by translating data into actionable business recommendations. Responsibilities Analyzing market trends, pricing, supply risks, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and threats. Providing actionable and strategic insights to inform category strategy, market positioning, and growth initiatives. Partnering with leadership to shape the category roadmaps and strategic plans. Monitoring supplier and buyer behaviors, demand forecasts, and performance data. Preparing executive-ready reports, dashboards, and strategic briefings. Supporting sourcing strategies with evidence-based recommendations. Maintaining and updating market intelligence databases. Researching emerging trends, technologies, and competitive developments. Facilitating data-driven decision-making across category teams. Participating in strategic planning sessions and workshops. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Advanced Excel skills and experience with analytics/visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred. Knowledge of procurement and category management processes is an advantage. Minimum 5 years total work experience in business analysis, procurement analytics, or market intelligence. At least 2 years in a role providing strategic recommendations based on market and business data. Proven track record of influencing decision-making through insights Strategic insight generation and storytelling with data. Market research and intelligence gathering. Ability to translate analytics into actionable strategic recommendations. Strong report creation, visualization, and presentation skills.
