Job Description

This is a remote position.

• Core Expertise SRE Foundations & Practices
• Deep understanding of SRE principles (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, toil reduction, reliability vs. velocity trade-offs).
• Proven experience driving SRE adoption and culture change across teams and applications.
• Strong knowledge of incident management, on-call practices, and blameless postmortems.
• Cloud & Infrastructure 5+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Solid expertise with Kubernetes , including scaling, workload optimization, network policies, service mesh, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with infrastructure as code .
• Reliability & Observability Strong knowledge of monitoring, logging, and tracing; design and implement alerting strategies aligned with SLOs/SLIs.
• Hands-on experience optimizing application performance, resiliency, and cost efficiency in cloud-native environments.
• Automation & Tooling Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (preferably Python) for automation, reliability tooling, and operational improvements.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release engineering best practices.
• Expertise in automating reliability tasks, reducing toil, and scaling best practices across multiple applications.
• Leadership & Collaboration Ability to evangelize SRE best practices and influence engineering/product teams in adopting them. Experience mentoring engineers and establishing communities of practice around reliability. Strong stakeholder management skills and excellent communication.
• Requirements
  • Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience migrating applications to SRE operating models in multi-team/multi-application settings.
  • Certification(s): Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes CKA/CKS, or equivalent.

Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Facilities and Maintenance Engineer is responsible for checking, repairing and servicing machinery, equipment and maintenance of facilities.
• SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• 1. Conducts evaluation of equipment/facility cost repairs and maintenance.
• 2. Provide work direction and performs project lead responsibilities for improvement of facilities, including developing logical, efficient projects plans, established priorities, assigning and delegating task, providing guidance to team members, anticipating and avoiding problems, monitoring and managing task completion.
• 3. Responsible for the maintenance of all aspects of the building, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, fire protection system, pumps, generators, tanks and packaging equipment.
• 4. Implement preventive maintenance schedules and strategies to minimize equipment breakdown, maximize efficiency, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• 5. Perform routine inspections to identify potential electrical hazards, ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations, and recommend corrective actions.
• 6. Review and evaluates preventive maintenance contracts and project bid proposal.
• 7. Recommend project proposals for improvement of facilities to the Immediate Superior.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• - Licensed Electrical Engineer
• - 2-3 years experience in manufacturing plant and building electrician

SCHEDULE AND WORK ARRANGEMENT

• On site (CBY Head Office)
• Monday to Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm
