Medical Information Specialist I

Provide medical and technical information to healthcare providers and patients, and manage adverse event reporting for pharmaceutical products at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Your Role Key responsibilities include: Respond accurately and professionally to medical and technical inquiries via phone, email, internet, or mail regarding pharmaceutical or device products. Process fulfillments and provide clinical trial information or after-hours on-call support. Analyze inquiries to formulate accurate responses using client-approved resources and record interactions in databases following organizational, client, and regulatory guidelines. Identify, record, and triage adverse events and product complaints according to guidelines and provide follow-up support as needed. Maintain detailed knowledge of project and corporate policies, client products, SOPs, protocols, GCPs, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with internal and external client contacts, including client management, to resolve complex inquiries. Research medical literature and draft responses for complex inquiries as needed. About You The company is looking for: Bachelor's Degree graduate in Life Science or Healthcare-related courses (e.g., Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Technology, Biology). Fresh graduates are welcome. 0 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred. Some countries may require a healthcare professional degree or medical information experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in a second language may be required. Proficient computer and keyboarding skills. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to interpret complex medical and technical information provided by clients. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor under pressure.
