Head of Supply Chain Management

Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting a Supply Chain Head on behalf of a renowned food & beverage group company. The Head of Supply Chain is responsible for designing, leading, and optimizing the company’s end-to-end supply chain across two business units – from procurement to store delivery and warehousing to distribution operations. This role ensures the supply chain is efficient, cost‑effective, reliable, and aligned with the organization’s growth and service objectives. Strategic Leadership Develop and execute end-to-end supply chain strategy across restaurant and retail businesses. Drive initiatives to improve performance, reduce costs, generate savings, and enhance service levels. Partner with senior leadership to align supply chain operations with growth objectives. Lead and mentor teams across procurement, planning, warehousing, and logistics. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration. Develop capabilities and succession pipelines within the supply chain organization. Leverage technology, data, and analytics for visibility, planning, and decision‑making. Drive process optimization, digital tools, and automation in procurement, warehousing, and distribution. Maintain performance metrics to track results and identify improvement opportunities. Restaurant Business (End-to-End Supply Chain) Oversee the full supply chain cycle for restaurants: demand planning, procurement, vendor management, inbound logistics, inventory, warehousing, and last‑mile distribution. Ensure reliable supply of food, beverages, packaging, and other restaurant requirements. Lead sourcing strategies to meet quality, cost, sustainability, and risk‑mitigation targets. Build and manage strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and logistics partners. Implement and improve systems for demand forecasting, supply planning, and order fulfillment. Monitor and control supply chain costs while maintaining quality and service. Work with Finance to manage budgets and deliver cost‑saving initiatives. Use data and analytics to improve supply chain efficiency and cost savings. Provide regular reports on inventory, costs, and key performance metrics to senior management. Retail Business (Warehousing & Distribution) Lead and optimize warehouse operations: storage, inventory control, and order processing. Manage distribution to ensure accurate, on‑time deliveries to retail outlets and customers. Set and monitor KPIs for warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, and distribution efficiency. Introduce best practices in warehouse management, including automation, safety, and sustainability. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food‑handling standards across facilities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). 10+ years in supply chain management with at least 5 years in senior management from restaurant, foodservice or food FMCG manufacturing industries. Strong expertise in supply & demand planning, procurement, warehousing, logistics, and distribution. Experience managing food & beverage supply chains; retail or FMCG background a plus. Proven ability to manage large teams, vendors, and multi‑site operations. Solid knowledge of ERP and supply chain management systems.
