About the role


Duros Hotels Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Accounting to join our dynamic team in our Liloan Cebu location. In this critical full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations for the company, playing a vital part in driving our continued growth and success.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the company's financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes

  • Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations

  • Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to senior management

  • Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals

  • Contribute to the implementation of new accounting systems and processes

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support the overall business objectives

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior accounting or finance role, preferably within the hospitality industry

  • Proven track record of leading and managing a high-performing accounting team

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights

  • Proficient in using accounting software and technology, with the ability to drive process improvements

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
