Accounting Head

The Accounting Head will oversee all financial and accounting operations at Premiere Medical and Cardiovascular Laboratory Inc. This leadership role will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, audits, and financial reporting. The Accounting Head will work closely with management to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data, and help drive the company's financial strategy in alignment with its overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the accounting department, providing guidance, mentorship, and leadership to accounting staff
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, collaborating with department heads and senior leadership
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other key financial operations
• Manage cash flow, bank relationships, and investments, ensuring adequate liquidity and efficient use of company funds
• Oversee internal and external audits and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard the company's assets
• Implement and optimize financial systems, processes, and software to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team to support strategic decision-making
• Stay up to date with industry trends, tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory changes that may impact the company

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of BS Accountancy, Finance or related field
• With at least 2-3 year of Accounting Experience
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Excel) and financial reporting tools. Experience with healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement processes is a plus
• Highly efficient, can multitask and can handle a great amount of workload
• Has initiative and able to work in a fast paced environment; has attention to detail
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to manage a team and interact with senior management and external stakeholders
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Able to work competently with minimal supervision
• Approachable, courteous, and has integrity
• Organized and able to delegate tasks and oversee staff
• Thorough understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and healthcare industry accounting standards
