Tax Associate | Work from Home - Night Shift Join to apply for the Tax Associate | Work from Home - Night Shift role at Connext . The Tax Associate will be responsible for examining personal tax returns, promptly resolving any errors, ensuring everything looks correct, and the system is running as intended, and sending each return to the correct destination. This role will be instrumental in designing and helping maintain a world‑class tax filing system. This role will also guarantee that our users have error‑free returns on a short timeline and can be confident that they’ve saved the most they can on their taxes. In addition to day‑to‑day responsibilities, the associate will have larger operational projects that help build and revamp the infrastructure. Job Description Resolve errors on tax returns with the help of a guide. Sanity check each return to ensure a high degree of accuracy. Triage returns accordingly, based on ability to diagnose if the problem is an engineering problem, a complex tax situation, or a user error. Leave detailed notes for other reviewers and CPAs to aid teammates in getting returns finished. Correspond with the customer support team as needed when questions require follow‑up. Add documentation where new issues are discovered. Join company projects not directly related to the tax filing process. QA the tax filing experience both from the user perspective and the final product. Required Qualifications Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment, contributing to group goals and delivering accurate results. Familiarity with personal tax filing processes in the United States to assist clients in tax preparation and compliance. Demonstrated commitment to accuracy and a strict adherence to established financial processes and procedures. Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients.
