Overview

Job Summary: The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates to meet the manpower needs of the company’s retail operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring that stores are staffed with competent and customer-oriented personnel who align with company standards. The Recruitment Specialist also supports employer branding, employee onboarding, and contributes to the overall talent acquisition strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for retail positions, from job posting to onboarding.
  • Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, career fairs, referrals, and other channels.
  • Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and endorse qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Coordinate with store and area managers regarding manpower requirements.
  • Ensure timely placement of staff to support smooth store operations.
  • Assist in developing recruitment strategies and campaigns to attract top talent.
  • Maintain and update recruitment records, databases, and reports.
  • Support new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
  • Uphold company standards and ensure compliance with labor laws and recruitment policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in recruitment; retail industry experience is an advantage.
  • Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple job requisitions at once.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with job portals and recruitment tools.
