Senior Architect

The Senior Architect is responsible for conceptual development and liaising with stakeholders, as well as managing and executing the design.

Responsibilities
  • Liaising with Managing Director, Design Principal, Operations, Clients, Consultants, Contractors, Vendor / Suppliers, and other employees/departments (where appropriate)
  • Overseeing the assigned Interior Design Projects (overall, including adaptation of budget and adherence to timelines)
  • Overseeing the design for a client and ensuring that the design fits within the Client’s expectations and requirements
  • Maintaining the Project’s overall design direction and aesthetic
  • Managing the delivery and deliverables of the Project
  • Managing and mentoring more junior design staff
  • Responsible for the effective presentation of design proposals to the client.
  • Assist in the preparation of Professional Design Contract Proposals for Interior Design Projects.
  • To seek continuing professional development. Research and update on latest industry standards, innovations, and best practices
  • Assist in the production of contract documents, specifications, and other documents relating to project.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations; to include renderings and material boards / mood boards
  • Selecting and presenting all Furnishing and Materials for approval of the Principal and the client
  • Reviewing of project documents including drawings, sketches, schedules, and specifications
  • Responsible for Project team and resources
  • Maintaining project files
  • To contribute or otherwise assist as required.
Minimum Education
  • Candidate must be a Licensed Architect
Minimum Experience/Training
  • Must have 5 years of relevant experience in Interior and Architecture Design.
Competency
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and self-starter
  • Programming abilities to extract information and produce reports
  • Knowledge of building and accessible codes
