Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of architects and engineers to ensure the adaptation and implementation of SBC's enterprise architecture guardrails to the dedicated Tech Solutions architecture.
  • Develop the dedicated Tech Solutions architecture roadmap and target state and oversee technical capabilities across the dedicated Tech Solutions unit.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for all dedicated Tech Solutions architecture-related activities and projects that require the team's services, and ensure that SLAs are met by team members.
  • Coach, develop, mentor, and lead the team to enhance their capabilities and fulfill the responsibilities in accordance with the Bank's overall business and technology objectives.
Qualifications
  • 10-15 years of experience as a Solution Architect or equivalent, including at least 3-5 years of experience leading teams of engineers and solution architects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; an advanced degree in related field is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of architecture frameworks, methodologies and patterns.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, microservices, and containerization.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and practices (e.g., Agile, Scrum, DevOps).
  • Strong experience in building and maintaining complex systems.
  • Strong experience in leading teams, mentoring and coaching.
  • Strong experience in defining, implementing and enforcing architecture governance.
  • Strong experience in engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong experience in driving design and architectural decisions.
  • Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and technologies.
