Responsibilities: Web Application Testing : Own the functional, regression, and acceptance testing of crypto web applications, focusing on layout, usability, and user experience improvements across the platform. Collaboration : Work closely with the development team to define testing protocols for new features as they are developed, ensuring seamless integration into the overall software lifecycle. Test Plans : Create and execute test plans for new and existing blockchain products and features, ensuring that they meet high-quality standards. Cross-Functional Support : Provide additional testing support for cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and QA leads, to ensure alignment with business goals. Bug Reporting : Identify issues and provide detailed bug reports through JIRA , ensuring effective communication with the engineering team and the prompt resolution of defects. Automation Testing : Utilize tools such as Cypress , Selenium , JMeter , and Postman for automation testing, with the opportunity to enhance and integrate automation into our CI/CD pipelines . API Testing : Test cloud APIs and blockchain interfaces, ensuring smooth performance and adherence to standards across web protocols and data formats such as HTTPS and JSON . Continuous Improvement : Stay up-to-date with new testing strategies, tools, and techniques, continuously improving testing protocols and contributing to the team’s knowledge base. Quality Metrics : Track and analyze quality assurance metrics , including defect densities and open defect counts, to help drive improvements across our Web3 product offerings. Requirements: Educational Background : A Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent training or work experience is also welcome. Experience : Prior experience with automation testing using tools like Cypress , JMeter , Postman , or Selenium is highly advantageous. Web Protocols : Familiarity with web protocols and data formats like HTTPS , JSON , and testing cloud APIs . UI/UX Knowledge : Good understanding of UI/UX principles , design paradigms, and user journeys to improve user interaction within blockchain applications. Testing Automation : Basic knowledge of automation frameworks and integrating tests within CI/CD pipelines . Passion for Crypto : An eagerness to learn and work in the crypto , DeFi , and blockchain ecosystem. Familiarity with Ethereum , Bitcoin , NFTs , and smart contracts will be beneficial.
