About the Client: A leading retail startup. Position Overview: The Country Head will serve as the senior-most executive responsible for leading the company’s operations in the Philippines. The ideal candidate possesses in-depth knowledge of the local insurance landscape, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of driving business success. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement the country business strategy aligned with regional and global objectives. Identify growth opportunities in commercial and retail P&C segments, including new products, partnerships, and distribution channels. Represent the company at industry forums, regulatory meetings, and with key stakeholders. Lead underwriting, distribution, claims, finance, and operations to meet business targets. Monitor and optimize the country's profit and loss statement (P&L) to ensure profitability and long-term sustainability. Implement and maintain high standards of operational efficiency, risk management, and customer satisfaction. Ensure full compliance with local insurance laws and regulations. Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, maintaining strong, transparent relationships. Oversee governance, audit, and reporting requirements as per group and local standards. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
