Position Overview:

The Country Head will serve as the senior-most executive responsible for leading the company's operations in the Philippines.

The ideal candidate possesses in-depth knowledge of the local insurance landscape, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of driving business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the country business strategy aligned with regional and global objectives.
  • Identify growth opportunities in commercial and retail P&C segments, including new products, partnerships, and distribution channels.
  • Represent the company at industry forums, regulatory meetings, and with key stakeholders.
  • Lead underwriting, distribution, claims, finance, and operations to meet business targets.
  • Monitor and optimize the country's profit and loss statement (P&L) to ensure profitability and long-term sustainability.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of operational efficiency, risk management, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure full compliance with local insurance laws and regulations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, maintaining strong, transparent relationships.
  • Oversee governance, audit, and reporting requirements as per group and local standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
