Position Overview Finance & Audit Officer ensures that all financial and accounting operations within an accounting department run smoothly. They oversee the work of junior accounting staffs. Responsibilities Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, inventory and bank reconciliations Supervise the sales audit and inventory count Manage month-end and year-end closing Participate in regular tax audits and payroll Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company’s targets Qualifications Proven work experience as an Accounting Officer; at least 3 years of extensive experience in accounting or finance. Experience with accounting software, preferably MS Dynamic NAV or any other ERP System. Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws and regulations Knowledgeable in inventory and retail accounting. Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formulas) Attention to detail and accuracy The ability to process large amounts of numerical data. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong management and leadership skills.
