Overview Assistant Accountant II at Global Payments Inc. performs accounting functions in a small office or departmental setting. Responsibilities include coding transactions, ensuring postings are in the appropriate accounting period, balancing subsidiary ledgers, following up on delinquent accounts receivable, and adjusting entries to maintain internal consistency and accuracy. Responsibilities Post, balance, and close subsidiary ledgers. Assign transaction codes to documents and verify processing dates. Follow up on delinquent accounts receivable customers. Analyze and adjust accounting documents for internal consistency and accuracy. Qualifications Graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or a related degree. Minimum of three (3) years of combined experience in accounts payable, general accounting, and/or audit. Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel. Fluent in English for effective verbal and written communication. Preferred Qualifications Certified Public Accountant. Exposure to multinational operations. Experience with Oracle, SAP Ariba, and automated expense management tools. Desired Skills and Capabilities Acquires and applies job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete assigned routine tasks. Works on routine to semi‑routine assignments requiring limited decision making outside of stated processes.
