We are looking to hire an Associate to join our office in Manila and help develop the Swedish business footprint in the Philippines and Asia-Pacific. This is management consulting with a higher purpose.

We deliver advisory and consultancy services, as well as trade and investment promotion, related to revenue growth for Swedish companies across sectors such as infrastructure, energy, healthcare, transportation, services, and manufacturing. Our clients’ businesses focus on innovation, efficiency, sustainability and digitalization. Our consultancy scope includes market entry and growth strategy, public affairs, sales channel set-up, M&A, legal establishment and incorporation, as well as client and partner acquisition.

What do we expect from you?

We aim to expand the team with someone who can adapt to a fast-paced environment and a steep learning curve, and who is interested in working in a dedicated team supporting Swedish clients in their growth journey in the Philippines and the rest of Asia-Pacific.

Professional experience in consulting, in-house strategy, or business development is a strong advantage. Government experience is a merit. You will work in project teams collecting, analyzing, and presenting information and insights to clients, mainly through interactions with external stakeholders in the market. Most work will take place in the Metro Manila area, with occasional travel in the Philippines.

You will support senior colleagues in sales dialogues and in developing new business opportunities, as well as prospecting and jointly developing customer value propositions. We value teamwork, initiative, accountability, and a proactive mindset. Being able to work independently, build networks, and stay curious are key characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with relevant stakeholders (e.g., industry associations, government bodies, industry experts, private sector).
• Compile and present data in client reports.
• Assist in arranging events and activities with local associations and Swedish official stakeholders (e.g., the embassy).
• Identify potential partners or customers on behalf of clients.

The role is based in Manila, but you will be expected to work with our teams and clients around the world as required.

Formal requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience from a consulting firm or equivalent.
• Experience from multi-stakeholder projects (private, public, or NGOs).
• Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
• High proficiency in English.
• Experience living/working in other parts of the world is a plus.
