Senior Software Engineer (Frontend) Location: SiteMinder Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines SiteMinder is a world‑leading open hotel commerce platform serving more than 50,000 hotels in 150+ countries and processing over 130 million reservations annually. About the Senior Frontend Engineer role In this role, you help us build frontend solutions and features using the latest technology in a truly agile environment. Our team focuses on clean, scalable code and a great user experience. What You’ll Do Deliver engaging experiences using Vue.js, TypeScript, Webpack, GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and Node.js. Build scalable and testable high‑quality frontend code. Work in a cross‑functional team and participate in sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives, and demos. Lead feature development from technical design through release. Collaborate with engineers and product owners to deliver solutions that solve business problems. Contribute to code reviews and documentation. Onboard and mentor junior engineers. Keep up to date with best practices and the latest technologies. What You Have Extensive experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Vue.js (mandatory). Experience building and maintaining large‑scale production platforms with modern web technologies. Ability to write clean, well‑organized code with appropriate trade‑offs for performance, robustness, and maintainability. Experience mentoring junior engineers. Strong understanding of the frontend ecosystem: bundling, linting, testing, and release. Willingness to learn new frameworks and paradigms. Familiarity with responsive design.
