Accounts Specialist – Corporate Banking Location: RCBC Makati, National Capital Region, Philippines We are looking for an Accounts Specialist to support our corporate banking team in delivering comprehensive financial solutions. Job Summary The Account Specialist position offers an excellent opportunity to prepare for a successful career as a Relationship Manager. This role is ideal for developing skills in client engagement and account management and contributing to delivering comprehensive financial solutions. Why become an Account Specialist? Build a foundation in relationship management with the necessary tools to identify new business opportunities and understand the intricacies of client needs and compliance requirements. Responsibilities Responsible for handling the day-to-day transactions of clients Manages the documentation and compliance and ensures that all required information are updated Generate collateral business and deposits from clients and promotes other services of the bank Solicit new, quality clients Packages credit accommodations, and gathers all pertinent documents for credit accommodations. Monitors loan/TR maturities Monitors activity of borrowing and non-borrowing accounts Qualifications A graduate of any business and finance course. Preferably with general banking experience but fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Must have a background in credit/financial analysis. Ability to speak Nihongo would be advantageous but not required. Knowledge of banking practices as well as regulatory policies, systems and procedures. Has the ability to conduct and facilitate meetings effectively and interact with top management. Can remain calm during uncomfortable interactions with a small group or when faced with stressful situations. Hardworking, organized and results/target-oriented. Must detail-oriented and have keen sense and initiative in developing better systems or guidelines. Proficient in the use of MS Office Applications e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
