Position Overview The Accounting Specialist is responsible for performing day‑to‑day financial and accounting tasks to support the Finance/Accounting Department. This role ensures accuracy in financial records, assists in preparing reports, and helps maintain compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities Record and verify daily financial transactions (e.g., sales, expenses, disbursements). Prepare and process vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payment documents. Maintain accurate and organized accounting files and documentation. Assist in bank reconciliation, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) monitoring. Update and maintain general ledger entries and journals. Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and summaries. Coordinate with internal departments and external partners (suppliers, auditors, banks). Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards. Perform other administrative and accounting‑related duties as required. Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field. Preferably with 12 years of accounting experience (fresh graduates may be considered). Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word); knowledge of accounting software is an advantage. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Good analytical, organizational, and time‑management skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Integrity, professionalism, and high regard for confidentiality. Preferred Skills Familiarity with government compliance requirements (e.g., BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag‑IBIG) for PH‑based roles. Experience with bookkeeping or payroll is a plus. Strong problem‑solving skills.
