About The Role

As a Senior Accountant you will play a key role in delivering a range of corporate tax compliance and financial accounting services to their diverse client base. This excellent opportunity to join and be seen as a key contributor within the fast-growing professional services business.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation and lodgement of income tax returns and FBT returns
  • Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS
  • Review of BAS and IAS returns
  • Bookkeeping preparation and review as required, including:
  • Xero setup and training
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable processing
  • Manual Journal entries
  • Reconciliations and review
  • Payroll calculations and related administration
Competencies And Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 3-5 years experience as an Accountant
  • Australian accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Accounting licenses or certifications (CPA, CMA, CA)
  • Proficient with Xero

Nice-to-Have

  • International Tax Experience
  • Certification with Xero
  • Strong knowledge in AU Accounting principles
  • Proficient with AP/AR Management
  • Experienced in setting up accounts in Accounting systems
