We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SEO Content Writer & Editor with a proven track record of delivering top-tier, search-optimized content in a fast-paced agency environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in SEO content writing within a digital marketing agency and a strong background in editing, ensuring every piece of content is not only optimized but also polished, engaging, and strategically aligned with client goals.

This role requires someone who can seamlessly blend creativity with technical SEO expertise, delivering content that ranks, converts, and resonates with target audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and proofread high-quality SEO content across multiple formats (blogs, landing pages, website copy, long-form guides, etc.).
  • Conduct advanced keyword research and implement on-page optimization strategies to maximize search visibility.
  • Ensure all content is fact-checked, free of errors, and adheres to brand voice and style guidelines
  • Collaborate with SEO strategists, account managers, and designers to develop content strategies that drive measurable results.
  • Stay ahead of evolving SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and industry best practices to continuously refine content strategies.
  • Mentor and guide junior writers (when applicable) to maintain quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SEO content writing/editing within a digital marketing agency setting.
  • Proven expertise in keyword research, content strategy, and on-page SEO optimization.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of content performance metrics and ability to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Availability to work 8 AM – 5 PM Central Time.
  • Pay Rate: $1500 - $1700 monthly
