Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Overseeing the receipt, storage, and tracking of goods, ensuring accurate inventory records and minimizing discrepancies.
  • Staff Supervision: Leading, training, and evaluating warehouse staff, ensuring they adhere to safety procedures and operational standards.
  • Coordination of Shipments: Managing the shipping and receiving processes, coordinating with other departments and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Safety and Security: Enforcing safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment, and ensuring proper equipment maintenance.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.
Essential Skills
  • Leadership and Communication: Ability to lead and motivate a team, communicate effectively with staff and other departments.
  • Organizational and Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain an organized workspace.
  • Inventory Management: Knowledge of inventory control procedures, tracking systems, and experience with inventory software.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve operational issues, such as inventory discrepancies or shipping delays.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with warehouse equipment, safety procedures, and relevant software.
Qualifications
  1. With a Bachelor\'s Degree in supply chain management or any related course.
  2. Previous experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role, is essential.
  3. Certification in logistics or supply chain management can be advantageous.
