Infor Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines Dev Business Analyst, Senior Infor Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines Role overview and scope The Senior Business Analyst utilizes technical and business expertise to evaluate project needs and create leading edge solutions via various types of documentation (client requirements and specifications, product specifications, design documents, knowledge transfers, user guides, etc.) and communicate them with project stakeholders that may include both internal and external clients. The same Business Analyst will also be tasked to help fix application bugs, create enhancements, and expand the HR Talent application and address customer reported issues within the Service Level Objective by investigating and triaging reported tickets. A Day in The Life Typically Includes: Represents requirements using alternative views, such as analysis models (diagrams), prototypes, user stories, or scenarios Participates in requirements analysis/verification, ensuring that requirement statements are in accordance with approved methodology Writes product designs/specifications according to standard templates and in accordance with system design specifications Identifies user classes, documents user class characteristics/user patterns Participates in the formulation of project plans Performs integration testing and systems testing of new development work Provides guidance to less experienced analysts Creates user documentations, training materials, knowledge base articles and coordinates with other technical documentation team members for the completion of all necessary notes, both external and internal Participates in design reviews to ensure requirements were interpreted correctly What You Will Need: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field Problem-solving, interviewing, elicitation and fact-finding skills Knowledge of PCs/Servers and various software applications Use-case modeling and design documentation skills Knowledge of HR and Payroll domain Good written and verbal communication skills What Will Put You Ahead? Team player Can complete self-paced trainings under minimal supervision Able to work with under pressure and within tight deadlines with a positive attitude 5 years business analyst experience and using, supporting or testing commercial/business applications Able to communicate and participate during meetings and reviews with US counterparts and willing to attend the meetings/reviews which might be scheduled early in the morning or late night Is an expert in software BA principles and practices and also in HCM-domain industry Works independently on large and/or complex technical projects Internal mobility is preferred due to the deadline the project requires but this should not be a requirement About Infor Infor is a global leader in business cloud software products for companies in industry specific markets.
