Purpose of the role The Technical Writer will play a key role in documenting operational workflows, technical processes, and customer-facing materials. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure clarity, consistency, and usability of all documentation. The writer will work extensively with platforms such as Autotask, Asana, IT Glue, and Stella to support service delivery and operational excellence. What you'll do Create and maintain documentation including SOPs, process guides, training manuals, and knowledge base articles. Collaborate with subject matter experts across operations, engineering, and project service delivery to gather and interpret technical information. Translate complex technical concepts into clear, structured content for internal and external audiences. Ensure documentation is aligned with operational tools including: Autotask: Document service workflows and ticketing procedures. Asana: Track and document project milestones and task dependencies. IT Glue: Maintain structured knowledge base entries and asset documentation. Stella: Capture operational insights and reporting outputs. Conduct peer reviews and edit content developed by other team members. Manage version control and maintain a centralised documentation repository. Support onboarding and training initiatives through instructional content. Who you are The ideal candidate for the Technical Writer role at Reivernet is a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with 2 to 4 years of experience crafting clear, concise, and user-friendly technical documentation in IT services or software environments. Holding a bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, IT, or a related discipline, you excel at translating complex technical concepts into structured content such as SOPs, process guides, training manuals, and knowledge base articles tailored for both internal and external audiences. You thrive in collaborative environments, working seamlessly with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, and project delivery to gather critical information. You demonstrate advanced proficiency with documentation and project management tools like Microsoft Office, Confluence or SharePoint, and show familiarity with platforms central to Reivernet’s operations such as Autotask, Asana, IT Glue, and Stella. Comfortable working remotely and managing multiple documentation projects independently, you possess strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike. A proactive mindset and passion for clarity enables you to maintain up-to-date, version-controlled documentation that supports onboarding, training initiatives, and operational excellence—all while reducing support queries and enhancing knowledge sharing across distributed teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
