Job Overview
The Senior Finance Manager will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial planning. This role is responsible for leading a finance team, delivering insightful financial analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Your Responsibilities: Reporting & Financial Analysis- Prepare and deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports (monthly reports, MANCOM reports, ad hoc, and exception reports)
- Ensure all reports are generated from reliable systems and are compliant with PFRS (Philippine Financial Reporting Standards)
- Perform reconciliations of subsidiary ledgers with general ledger accounts
- Provide meaningful analysis, interpretations, and key findings in reports
- Ensure data consistency with ERP system outputs, where applicable
- Provide sound financial advice to support business decisions
- Oversee internal and external audit processes to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls
- Recommend and implement improvements in financial systems and processes
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve department goals
- Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity of all financial data and records
What our Client is Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
- Must be a CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- At least 5 years of managerial experience in auditing or within a private firm
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP is a plus)
- Strong skills in data entry and financial data management
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly in using spreadsheet and computerized accounting programs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail
