At Tyler Technologies, we’re building the next generation of ERP solutions to power Connected Communities, helping local governments and school districts centralize data and streamline operations.

Position: CloudOps Engineer

Role Overview: You will design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure supporting our financial management, human resources, tax billing, and asset management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and optimize cloud infrastructure to support ERP solutions.
  2. Automate deployments, monitoring, and security operations.
  3. Ensure scalability and security of cloud environments.
  4. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve cloud operations and software development.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments, preferably AWS, with a focus on DevOps and CloudOps.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows system management.
  • Understanding of high availability, security, and workload management in cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Datadog.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture.
