Job Description:
Overall Purpose
Product Management Analyst shall assist in all product research initiatives, from conceptualization up to the development and design of client-centric insurance solutions using insights from internal and external stakeholders, benchmarking and competitive analysis.
He / She will provide support through gathering market and product data to support the development and positioning of new products or enhancements of existing offers.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Product Research
Provide product and market research requirements to strengthen product proposition.
  • Conduct mystery shopping and competitive analysis / benchmarking through business intelligence (i.e. data gathering of competitors’ proposals, product collaterals, social media posts, etc.)
  • Support product development with actionable insights based on competitors’ updates / market trends’ or from product-related studies.
  • Assist in the logistics preparation and research design of surveys, focus interviews and concept testing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide support to Product Management by facilitating the preparation of counter-offer requests from Advisors and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain databases and libraries of product research documents, competitor data and studies.
  • Assist in the completion of Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) requirements for on-boarding of vendors that can augment product offers through value added services.
  • Product Management and Marketing
The Analyst will also provide assistance in managing the product development activities and in the delivery of product marketing requirements for new product launches. He / She may be tapped to handle responsibilities such as:
  • Assist in developing marketing plans and promotional activities for new products launches as well as developing other product-related initiatives and campaigns.
  • Assist in coordinating the activities of all functions during the entire product development process.
  • Act as organizer and/or scribe of the product ideation or product development group meetings as well as other adhoc meetings.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly Fund Performance Reports (i.e. VUL Fund Fact Sheets) used by clients and advisors
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the immediate superiors.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of prior working experience (insurance or non-insurance related industry), preferably with a balance of marketing, research and technical experience.

  • Demonstrated communication (written/oral), analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills with ability to influence
  • Strong project coordination skills, consulting skills and detail-oriented mindset
  • A great team player at all levels of the organization
  • Resourceful and highly independent
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and known social media platforms
