Responsibilities and duties
  • Help the organization make informed decisions by transforming available data into meaningful insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, process and analyze data, and create self-service dashboards that drive initiatives.
  • Support decision-making by translating business requirements into analytical products.
  • Develop and maintain data models, automation, reports, and dashboards using BI tools.
  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing basic data validation and quality checks.
  • Apply statistical techniques and models to address business questions and test hypotheses.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather information, explore options, present findings/proposals, and answer clarifying questions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive, up-to-date documentation on the team’s data products.
  • Take ownership of several data products, ensuring they remain accurate, up-to-date, and relevant.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis, data extraction, and support to leadership and other departments to address specific business questions using readily available data.
Skills and preferred qualifications
  • Industry experience in data analysis, BI analysis, or a similar position.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python and BI tools for developing data models, automation, and dashboards. Tableau experience is a plus.
  • Experience performing business statistics (e.g., descriptive statistics and AB experiments analysis).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills for both business and technical stakeholders.
  • A curious mindset with an inquisitive approach to problem-solving.
  • Openness to learning and a proactive effort to expand knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously.
