Our client is a fast-growing international retail group with a strong presence across Asia. Known for its dynamic culture and ambitious growth plans, the company is expanding its footprint in the Philippines and is looking for a hands-on HR leader to support this journey.

Job Description

The HR Manager will be responsible for building and managing the full HR function locally. This includes:

  • Setting up HR systems and processes aligned with HQ standards
  • Leading recruitment for frontline and office roles
  • Managing employee lifecycle activities including contracts, transfers, and dispute resolution
  • Implementing and monitoring KPIs and performance frameworks
  • Overseeing manpower planning, budgeting, and cost control
  • Driving cultural integration and employee engagement initiatives
  • Handling payroll and compliance with local labor laws
  • Supporting ad hoc HR projects as needed

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Manager should have:

  • Degree in HR or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience in retail or FMCG, with strong exposure to recruitment, employee relations, or performance management
  • Solid understanding of Philippine labor laws
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Mandarin proficiency is a plus but not required
