POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as a Staff Accountant. The preferred candidate possesses a degree in Accounting or Business and exhibits proficiency in financial analysis, along with prior experience as a Staff Accountant.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESKey Responsibilities :
- Handling accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, and vendor management.
- Managing cash transactions, including recording daily cash receipts and disbursements.
- Reconciling bank statements and ensuring accuracy in financial records.
- Assisting in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Generating financial reports and assisting in financial analysis as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Collaborating with other team members to support overall financial operation
- Communicates with vendors / customers
- Follows up on account statements, vendor invoice discrepancies, and responds to vendor inquires
- Basic accounting knowledge to research, and resolve accounting issues or discrepancies
- Research customer account inquiries, and resolve any billing discrepancies
- Assist in special projects as needed

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business with a focus on Accounting
- Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Proficient in English (verbal and written)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit / stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT- Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based.
