The Materials Resource Planning (MRP) Specialist ensures the optimal planning, allocation, and monitoring of the Company’s material resources to maintain operational efficiency for the business units. Also tasked to conduct time and motion studies, analyze production and warehouse operations, recommend process improvement strategies, and implement assigned projects from time to time to support overall manufacturing and supply chain objectives. The MRP Specialist shall also serve as the Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and Safety Officer for Polara Chemical Corporation, ensuring compliance with related Philippine environmental regulations, occupational health and safety (OSH) standards, and supply chain requirements. These responsibilities include: Implementing safety protocols, environmental management programs, and regulatory initiatives to maintain a safe, efficient, and sustainable work environment. Monitoring pollution control measures, hazard assessments, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with DENR, LLDA, DOLE, DOH, and BFP regulations. Supporting workplace safety enforcement, incident investigations, and emergency preparedness programs in coordination with internal teams and external regulatory agencies. Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Responsibilities Ensure pollution control facilities comply with government standards. Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments for environmental compliance. Develop and implement pollution control measures and best practices. Manage permits and compliance requirements with DENR, LLDA, and local agencies. Monitor and track hazardous waste generation and disposal. Maintain environmental records, permits, and corrective action logs. Stay updated on regulations and pollution control technologies through seminars. Provide training on environmental regulations, waste management, and pollution control. Develop and implement emergency response plans for environmental incidents. Engage with communities, environmental organizations, and agencies on sustainability efforts.
